Netflix releases so far this December

Source: TriStar Pictures Netflix loves December and no exception this year. Only four days into the month Netflix has added a good number of movies to their inventory. These new inclusions vary from movies like critically acclaimed Shaun of the Dead , 80's cult film The Last Dragon or soon to be remade Hellboy . Also as I mentioned in a previous post   The Big Lebowski has returned to Netflix too. Out of them, below is a selected list with the criteria of having at least 6.5 ratings on IMDb. One exception to this is Astro Boy , a 3D animated movie based on one of my favorite Japanese anime classic by the same name. So here are the movies made to my list that were added to Netflix between December 1st and 4th, 2018 . Mind you the list is sorted by IMDb rank. Source: Netflix Coen Brothers and Netflix is a match made in heaven. The latest Netflix original movie The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is the perfect gift for the season for me. It's like reading a book of short stories yet better. Without a doubt Coen Brothers ( Joel Coen and Ethan Coen ) delivers it as a beautiful American western narrative. This being a Netflix original means anyone with a subscription around the world can watch it. I think Coen Brothers and Netflix is a perfect combination. But wait, does it end there? Well it's not. Marvel movies you can stream on Netflix right now

Source: Marvel Studios Marvel has been a friendly partner to Netflix when it comes to content providing. Among Marvel's animated movies and TV series, Netflix carry a good number of MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movies too. We know there's a big uncertainty lying around this relationship though, mainly because of the new Disney streaming service, Disney+ . Once Disney+ is launched in late 2019, media report that Marvel Studios might pull their movies from Netflix in order to enrich their own streaming service. Not to forget the Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox in this discussion too. This means Hulu, arguably the biggest rival to Netflix, will also be a part of the Disney family. But we don't know much about those plans yet. The good news is that none of these will happen before the Avengers 4 next summer.
